Ganja plant has analgesic, sedative, anti-inflammatory, anti-convulsive and laxative properties and helps in the treatment of several diseases. It is very useful in the treatment of diseases like insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, depressions, neuralgias and rheumatism. Ganja has very effective results in treating gastrointestinal dysfunctions, ulcer, cholera, cancer, epilepsy, bronchitis, asthma and gonorrhea. Ganja increases appetite and reduces the states of nausea and vomit in case of AIDS and hepatitis. The plant is also used for the treatment of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and spasms. It reduces the intraocular pressure and hence recommended in treatment of glaucoma.
