Medicinal Uses

Latjeera is anti-infective, anti-mycotic, aperient, aphrodisiac, emollient,laxative, purgative, stimulant and sudorific in nature and has been used for medicinal purposes since long time. The plant is used for curing constipation, diarrhea, dysentery, sprue, sore throats, tonsillitis, toothache, canker sores and bad breath. The plant is used for treating many respiratory disorders like asthma, wheezing and cough. It is quite effective in case of weakness, debility, unconsciousness , hernia, chest pain, recurring illness and neuralgia. Many musculoskeletal problems such as broken bones, bruises, wounds, pain, Western Samoa, sciatica and swelling can be treated with the help of latjeera plant.
