  • Eat lots of dairy products such as milk and cheese but make sure that they should not be over eaten as it can have harmful effects too.
  • Foods rich in butter and ghee should be eaten.
  • Take afternoon sleep.
  • Consumption of ayurvedic herbs such as ashwagandha, shatavari and aamlaki are highly beneficial for weight gain.
  • Avoid stress and try to keep your mind fresh.
  • Intake of raisins on daily basis is recommended.
  • Ayurvedic rasayana, Chyavanprash is extremely beneficial for weight gain. In addition to that, it enhances the immune system of the body and reduces the rate of aging.
