What triggers Diabetes
Diabetes occurs because of the lack of insulin in the body. Insulin absorbs the sugar and glucose of the body, thus when not enough insulin is produced, it causes diabetes. It is basically a metabolic disease in which the glucose and sugar levels of the body shoot up.
Causes of Diabetes
The cells that produce insulin are destroyed due to some bacterial or viral infections. This explains the lack of insulin in the body to neutralize the sugar and glucose levels.
A diet with poor nutritional value hardly benefits our body. On the contrary, it might trigger some reactions that cause diabetes. Our daily meals should have a proper mix of all the necessary nutrients and substances needed for a healthy body.
A nutritious food but with too much fats and oil is even more risky to the health. Food immersed in oil is not a rarity in India. Refined products with a lot of fat are harmful for the body. Such food items cause various metabolic disorders like diabetes.
Who doesn't have a sweet tooth? We all love to gorge over sweets and other sugary food items. But the problem arises when we overdo it.
Stress affects the internal system by interrupting the way brain sends signals to the organs. It becomes a slow cause for a number of diseases.

Hereditary reasons are rampant when it comes to disorders like diabetes. In number of cases, genetic factors are seen to be responsible for diabetes.
Drugs and over the counter medicines for high blood pressure, headache or painkillers and various antibiotics also make the body really weak from inside and lower the immunity of the body.
